I booked 2 half day private lessons with Edy for myself and 6 year old daughter. I can honestly say he was truly fantastic. I am a very nervous skier and when I got stuck on a slightly steep bit of a blue run Edy led me down holding on to his ski poles. He completely understood my anxiety and was so reassuring. He did loads of fun exercises with us to improve ski technique and we both really enjoyed the lessons. He also took my husband for the first hour of our morning and did some advanced skiing with him and he also thought edy was fantastic. If we return to Courmayeur or Cervinia next year I will definitely book Edy for the whole week. He was excellent in every way.

Edy was THE BEST for our family of 5. We had ages 9, 11 and 13 plus a snowboarder... he effortlessly guided us around a very busy Courmayeur (finding all the quiet spots) . It was our Second experience of trying to ski & second coming to Courmayer with two children of 5 y.o and two adults. All were beginners... we skied 5 days and the result was perfect. Children & adults are skiing & made progress every day. We came back to Courmayer this year only because of Edy- he is an excellent instructor making teaching professional skiing both as an art& as a fun. We are happy.It was marvelous to see how Edy socialize with the children, always cheering them up & motivating, teaching them technique, discovering the slopes. And at the End it was a great surprise to get the medals & video of all the days. The children are happy and would not leave. Hope to come back next year. If you want to teach your children to ski take an individual lessons & the best ski instructor in Cervinia, Courmayer & Zermatt is Edy.

There is sliding (which is what 85% of skiers do)...and then there is SKIING. If you want to learn to SKI and actually use your ski EDGES (which is what modern skis are designed for) its such an exhilarating experience and to master carving which feels like you are on rails then, you should invest in lessons. You probably know this by now, but just in case you dont; you will NOT learn to ski PROFICIENTLY on your own. Why? Well, put simply, skiing is counter-intuitive. You have to learn to COMPLETELY OVER-RIDE (and ignore) your natural instincts i.e. sitting back in your boots etc, using your bum or your shoulders to initiate the turn etc and in order to erase bad habits and adopt a dynamic posture that leads to THE THRILL then, simply get in touch with Edy. He is a first class coach and good company too. I have spent oodles of £££ on lessons in the past with mixed results, yet, after 3 days of a 10 day trip with Edy I had improved hugely. I had such a good time, I have rebooked and I am doing another week with him, 1st week of February.😃 ⛷🎿

It’s our first time skiing and we’re so glad to have found Edy! We found him via google and found the reviews really reflecting the quality of teaching Edy puts into his work. As a beginner, we worked at the base of the chair lifts for two hours and it was a great introduction and exposure to skiing! Edy is patient, knowledgeable and always there to reassure us that we’re in a safe training space. I cannot recommend Edy’s services enough, he has really given us confidence to try skiing again! There are many ski instructors but if you want a five star service from a talented and extremely experienced ski instructor Edy Isabellon is that person. I had a private lesson and he made me feel very safe and gave me confidence. My husband and I then enjoyed an amazing day going to Zermatt where we skied 24k. Edy is so knowledgeable of these mountains we learnt so much of the area. Apart from his obvious skill he is fun to be with and very personable. We were very fortunate to find him.

Eddy is the best ski guide! He spent a day with my son, who is an expert skier and had so much value to add technically as well as just getting on so well with Nick who had a great day in average snow conditions. He then spent a day guiding a group of nine of us, all intermediate to good adult skiers, and we had probable our best days skiing ever, including lunch at a fabulous restaurant recommended and arranged by Edy and a couple of other special experiences that he suggested and organised. An added bonus are the amazing photographs that he takes while you are skiing! A truly 5-star experience!!

He is a brilliant ski instructor - great with our boys and also a fabulous guide to the Cervinia/Valtournenche/Zermatt/Champoluc/Gressoney/Alagna, Courmayeur and Pila ski areas. Edy was our ski instructor during our ski vacation in Breuil Cervinia in December 2018. He was really great. He was very attentive to everyone. He balanced teaching with fun. Our group had skiers of different levels and he was able to improve everyone’s level. He is fluent in English (as well as other languages) and very personable.
